MOT Cafe Bar Nota 22Motril’s first tapa-route event has been an all-round success, according to the Town Hall and the organisers, Guía Playa with almost 2,000 people taking part.

People turned up at the 15 establishments participating and partook of their tapas on the 2nd and 3rd, marking their score cards and handing them in at the Tourist Information Office for the counting process.

But of course, the judges themselves also toured the said bars and restaurants so that they could also decide their vote.

And the result was that Cafe-Bar Nota 22 in the Plaza de Las Palmeras won the competition. The judges voted a special recognition for Bar La Sastrería, for its use of local products like mangoes and avocados.
