The Chairman of the Provincial Council, José Entrena came to Lobres to look over the municipal pool there, which has reopened at last.

He met with the Mayor, María Eugenia Rufino Morales and the First Councillor for Lobres, Ana Mingorance so that they could all have their photograph taken together… and talk about the pool being opened after having remained closed these last few summers because of defects.

The necessary work to get it up and running again is thanks to a grant received from the Provincial Council, you see – some 28,000 euros.

The filtering system has been overhauled, the pool surroundings have been modified to come into line with safety regulations and the floors in the changing rooms have been replaced, amongst other alterations.
