ALM Torrecuevas RomeriaThe Hermandad Virgen Madre and San Isidro Labrador de Torrecuevas are warming up for the VI Romeria de San Isidro on the 21st of this month.

The event starts with a religious service at the Iglesia del Salvador at 09.30h and once that has concluded, the decorated carts, horse riders and those on foot will set off for the Rambla de Torrecuevas.

To get to the Roman aqueduct in Torrescuevas they will go up the Río Verde riverbed for the most part. Unlike previous years they won’t have to cross the N-340 with their 30-odd carts-cum-floats, as they will take the Otivar road through San Sebastian via Calle Molvízar.

But here is the whole route if you want to participate: Iglesia de el Salvador, Calle Tetuán, Mariana Pineda, Avenida Rey Juan Carlos I, Carrera de la Concepción, Carretera Suspiro del Moro, along Calle Molvízar to where the Camino de la Vega Primera starts, following it until they reach the riverbed.
